How does a Swiss Format Tournament work?
All players start by playing a 5 point Crawford Match.
Winners then play Winners and
Losers play Losers.
We do this again for as many rounds
as we need (probably 4 or 5)
until only 1 person has won all their matches.
As players drop out of this Swiss
Tournament, they may move to the YHA Bar to play in the Sunday
Tric Trac Tourno.
Champ
o Champs points will be awarded:
Winner - 5 points
2nd placed Player(s) - 3 points each
3rd placed Players(s) - 1 point each
The winner of the Swiss will win the
Swiss Tournament Trophy.
Entry into this Tournament is £10.
There will also be an Auction.
How does this work ?
Players are put into Groups of Max. 8
Players are invited to bid for the
Groups.
The Owner of the Winning Group
takes to pot.
The Tournament Director will be
