LEAGUE / KNOCKOUT TOURNAMENT Sunday daytime in The Doggett's Coat and Badge Bar. (Not the former Spice Island.) MAXIMUM 32 PLAYERS (Please pre-register) (Last updated: 04/11/2007) N.B. 8th October - Loads of seats left in the Team Tournament, The Jackpots and Tric Trac Tournos. PLEASE BE IN THE DOGGETT'S BAR BY 10.45 a.m. GROUP AUCTION AT 11.00 a.m. MAIN OPTIONAL POOL WILL CLOSE AT 11.00 DRAW WILL BE AT 11.15 LATE PLAYERS WILL BE FINED AT A RATE OF 1 POINT PER 10 MINUTES OR SUBSTITUTED AT 11.30 O'CLOCK BY RESERVES IF THERE ARE SOME. Upstairs in the Doggett's Bar, Blackfriars. There will be 8 Round Robins (Leagues) of 4 Players each. Each League will have an Optional Pool with the highest placed Player to have entered to Pool taking the pot for their League. Matches will be 3 points Crawfords. Match scores are recorded to ascertain places. If this still produces a draw then head to head results are used. Then there will be a Main and a Consolation. There will also be Optional Pools for these. You must choose to enter all Pools before you commence play in that bracket. The top 2 Players from each League will go into the Main Knockout and the bottom 2 Players from each League will go into the Consolation Knockout. Matches will be 3 points Crawfords with the Semi-Finals and Finals being 5 point Crawfords. Trophies for the Winners of Main and Consolation. Entry is £20 (TAKEN FROM £20 DEPOSITS PAID) THIS INCLUDES YOUR FIRST DRINK AT 12.00 O'CLOCK AND A MEAL FROM THE CARVERY WHICH YOU MAY EAT WHEN YOU LIKE. Champ o Champ points will be awarded to those that do well: League Winners, Semi-Finalists Main & Conso, Winners Main & Conso. The Tournament Director will be  Mike Main. N.B. This League / Knockout Tournament replaces the Olympiad Tournament that we just don't have time for because The Gang Tournament comes forward to 4.00 pm this year so more can play in it.
