UK Masters Satellite at The Lockside Lounge
 

There will be a
UK Masters Satellite Knockout Tournament
sponsored by
The World Series of Backgammon
held at
The Lockside Lounge
on the evening of
Tuesday 30th of October 2007

The winner will receive:
a non-transferable voucher for a seat in
The UK Masters Backgammon Tournament
(value £580)
to be held at the prestigious
Casino at the Empire in Leicester Square, London
between 15th and 18th November 2007 and
the complete set of DVDs from the 2006 WSOB series.
 

Details:

Registration will open at 6.00 pm prompt.
All registrations MUST be done in person.
No telephone registrations and no players registering for their friend(s)
who will “be along shortly.”

Minimum 8 players, maximum 32 players.
The 33rd player to attempt to register will be informed that the Satellite is full.

The WSOB UK Masters Entry Fee is
£580 and will be
divided by the number of entrants.
So entry will be:
if 32 players = £20 per player
if 31 players = £21 per player
if 30 players = £21 per player
if 29 players = £22 per player
if 28 players = £23 per player
if 27 players = £23 per player
if 26 players = £24 per player
if 25 players = £25 per player
if 24 players = £26 per player
if 23 players = £27 per player
if 22 players = £28 per player
if 21 players = £30 per player
if 20 players = £31 per player
if 19 players = £33 per player
if 18 players = £34 per player
if 17 players = £36 per player
if 16 players = £38 per player
if 15 players = £41 per player
if 14 players = £43 per player
if 13 players = £47 per player
if 12 players = £50 per player
if 11 players = £55 per player
if 10 players = £60 per player
if 09 players = £66 per player
if 08 players = £75 per player
(This includes £2 registration per player.)

Registration will close at 7.00 pm at the latest.
No late entrants.
If 32 players are in-situ before 7.00 pm the taking of entry fees
and the draw will commence immediately.

If it is a 9 to 32 player tournament match lengths will be
5 points Crawford.
If it is an 8 player tournament match lengths will be
7 points Crawford.
Players must be ready to play as soon as their opponent is known.

If it is a less than a 17 player tournament and time allows there will be
Optional Pools and a Group or Calcutta Auction.

For those players knocked out of the Satellite
there will also be
4 or 8 player tournaments during the evening.
Entry fee to these will be upon demand.

We anticipate the Satellite will be fully registered.
Arrival at The Lockside Lounge by 6.00 pm is
STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.

The winning player will be provided with a
Backpacker Backgammon Shirt
that is to be worn for the duration of the WSOB UK Masters.
