All
matches except the Finals may be played
where
Players agree upon.
The preferred venue and time is
on Saturdays and Sundays 4.00 -
6.00 p.m.
Please do not expect to be able to play a double match
here during the evenings - The Fox is a restaurant too and
tables are needed during the evenings for meals. As long as
players eat meals as well then this can be got round.
Seeing as the Tournament is based around The Fox
there is a 5 mile radius rule for matches to be played
within
unless all players involved agree to a match happening further
a field.
Matches can happen in homes, other pubs, bars..
anywhere you agree upon.
Here are some that have already been used:
Good for afternoon play as there are often tables to spare
and they are happy for backgammon to be played here at that
time.
Ryan's also has very good Thai cuisine at a very reasonable
price.
It's easy to spend time in here.
The ?????
on the corner of Stoke Newington Church Street and Albion
Road.
Good for evening play as well.
A number of well watched matches have been played here.
The Tup.
??? Stoke Newington Church Street, London N16
I can't quote you a doubles match that has happened in here
but I'm told they are happy for chouettes to happen in
here
so I expect they would be happy to host doubles too.
Final Main and Final Consolation matches
are to be played in the Fox Reformed
If you know of others please let
me know and I'll post them up too.
