Gammon Man left Arabia, but in the three years he had spent there much had happened in the Backgammoning world, including the mysterious disappearance of Jimmy Stevens....

THREE YEARS PREVIOUSLY 
Jimmy Stevens was a 15 year old backgammon prodigy, set to take the world title after the Powers' death.

However, unlike Will and Mary Power, young Jimmy Stevens was a cheat!

6 weeks before the World Championship, Jimmy was on Holiday in Jamaica when he fell into a drunken row with a barmaid.

Unfortunately for Jimmy, this was not any barmaid, but the terrible
Sorceress of Sheshbesh!

The sorceress disliked Jimmy's arrogance, and punished him by transforming him into dice.

The sorceress gave the dice to a local backgammon cafe - The Baffle Cafe, where Jimmy was baffled and baffled
and baffled.

BACK TO THE PRESENT 
On his flight, Gammon Man met another backgammon enthusiast, who told our hero about the mysterious disappearance of Jimmy Stevens three years earlier.

Thinking it might be linked to his parents death, Gammon Man bought tickets for the next flight to Jamaica.

However, in Jamaica no-one could help him in his inquiries so, full of disappointment, he sat down to a game of backgammon in a local cafe.

But when Gammon Man was playing, he noticed something very strange about the dice he was using, and so pocketed them.

Gammon Man returned to Las Vegas and brought the dice to a friend of his; Professor Crawford, who had helped our hero after his transformation.

The Professor quickly deduced that the dice were human, probably Jimmy Stevens. Gammon man was eager to bring Jimmy back,despite the Professors warnings.

The Professor gave in to Gammon Mans pleas, and began the transformation process, though he was anxious as to how all those years of baffling would affect poor Jimmy.

When the transformation was complete, it was Baffle Boy NOT Jimmy Stevens that awoke. Baffle Boy despised the person he once was, and wanted to punish cheats everywhere! 

Baffle Boy had several powers; He had the power to detect cheats within a 5 mile radius...

He could fly and spin so fast, that it baffled the most cunning of criminals!...

And he had the Iron Will to destroy all cheats, making the world a fair and safe place.

Gammon Man noticed Baffle Boy's powers and proposed that they join forces.

Baffle Boy accepted, and so one of the most famous partnerships in history was forged - 
GAMMON MAN and BAFFLE BOY!
