Hope and Anchor got stuffed by Whine and Dine to the accompaniment of head-banging music. A number of interesting positions were recorded. Here are four which everybody managed to get right.

1st Round matches were to be played by:
Monday 19th May

The preferred location was in The Fox Reformed
on Saturdays and Sundays 4.00 - 6.00 p.m.
but matches could be played wherever and whenever
participating players agreed upon

2nd Round matches were to be played by:
Monday 2nd June

Semi Final matches were to be played by:
Monday 16th June

The Final was to be played in 

by Monday 30th June
(played at 3.00 p.m. Saturday 21st June)

Dod gave us a witty view on each and every team and got us all bidding away. 

He raised about the same amount as is in the Prize Fund.

70% to the owner of the Winning Team and 
30% to the owner of the Running-up Team.

The Tournament has been a huge success. 
The intention is to run it every 3 months. 

(Tournament takes 2 months to play 
+ 1 month between so as we have a break)

with the trophies being returned 
for the next tournament.

Various alterations to the format for the next tournament have already been suggested.
