TTTs
are usually limited
to 12 players.

You play a
1 game match
against all the other players in the TTT.

When you lose you score ½ a point -
So it's never pointless!

The
way to win ?
PLAY FOR GAMMONS !!!
|
|
The
player with the highest
number of points wins the Tourno.
|
|
If we have 2 or more players tie
for 1st place we go to a Final-Play-off.
Same rules. This usually gives us a winner.
If not, winners play until there is.
|
|
12 players means 66 games are to be played
and usually takes no more than 2 hours.
|
|
If you cannot be online for that duration
- please DO NOT register -
You will only ruin the TTT for the other players.
|
|
|
Sometimes we have 20 player TTTs.
|
|
For these we do 2 x 10 player Pre-TTTs.
|
|
Then the top three players from each go into
a Tric Trac Tourno Final-Play-off.
|
|
If we have players on equal points we decide who goes into the
Final-Play-off by backgammons won, then gammons won, then
straight wins,
then by games between them won.
|
|
In the unlikely event that this is still a draw,
we have a Mini-Play-off.
|
|
The Final Play-off itself must have one clear winner and if we
have a draw for 1st place we go to a
Final-Final-Play-off.
|
|
There has never yet been a 20 player
Final-Final-Final-Play-off !

|
20 player TTTs take about 3 hours.
