It had been a while since I'd run a midweek TTT,
I knew Bedstefar had been away on holidays,
but I was sure his 2 weeks was way due up now,
and besides he can't be online at the now regular Sunday Evening time of 19.00 GMT,
and I couldn't rightly remember when Beds had last played in a TTT, so, before I set this one up, I checked if he could make it. He could. Indeed he had been sick. Part of Bed's charm is that he does things - well things happen to him - that are not ordinary. Most people who go to Italy in the summer come back with a suntan. Beds went on holiday to Italy, got 'flu and ended up in a hospital in Germany. But he was O.K. now. I set up the TTT.
For a long time it was a close TTT - no Player struck up an early strong lead as seems to have happened more so recently. BigDave, who was after his 3rd Online TTT win in a row and thus set a new record, was out of sorts this evening and was headed for a long while for the marbles. Skyjames went for the dramatic scores with 2 lost by backgammons but 2 gammons ! But Beds won a gammon and a backgammon to secure the victory.
This now puts Bedstefar on 3 TTT wins along with SaeedVali, gandp, Kuhenur, Netmusen and Mazda. There are a good few Players on 2 TTT wins.
