THE 1st TTT IN BERLIN

Jörg (aka miraculi) set up and ran this 1st TTT Live in Berlin.
Here is his report and pictures on the event:

Um 19:30 Uhr war es dann soweit. Das erste TTT-Turnier live in Berlin wurde im Cafe der Kulturfabrik Lehrter Strassegestartet. Zuvor mussten die Regeln genauer erklärt werden, da die meisten Spieler eine Variante namens Tavla spielen. Bald hatten die 10 Spieler begriffen, worauf es ankommt: Gammons! Ljupče hatte einen Blitzstart mit 1 Gammon und zwei Siegen, zum Schluss nach 2 Stunden Spielzeit gewann aber Carsten mit insgesamt 3 Gammons. Bravo! Thomas K. und Ljupče mussten noch ein Play-off um den zweiten Platz ausspielen: Thomas K. gewann. Carsten erhielt als Preis ein von Mike gestiftetes TTT-Shirt, der zweite bekam eine Flasche Sekt. Alle hatten viel Spaß und wir werden dies in nächster Zeit wiederholen.

The first Live TTT in Berlin was played in the Cafe of the Kulturfabrik Lehrter Strasse. Before we started the rules had to be explained rather precisely because most players usually play a variant called Tavla. Soon the 10 players understood the tactics: Play for Gammons!  Ljupče had a lightning start with a Gammon and two straight wins but in the end, after 2 hours play, it was Carsten who, with 3 Gammons, won the TTT. Bravo! Thomas K. and Ljupče played a Play-off to decide the second place: Thomas K. won. Carsten received a prize of a TTT-Shirt donated of Mike and Thomas K. won a bottle of sparkling wine. Everybody had a lot of fun and we will repeat this another time.
