As per usual I logged into my computer 2 hours before the TTT
was due to start. After 15 minutes I discovered that my
webpage publishing program was not working so I phoned my new
server people. I've recently changed server and wasn't best
pleased. Numerous phoned calls then happened and tests were
made. Yes indeed the web publishing program was down and they
estimated they would get it fixed by 9.00 p.m. At 9.00
p.m. (when we were due to start) it still wasn't working but
with 18 players registered I wasn't willing to keep those
players waiting so we went ahead without the updated website.
In all the online TTTs I've run (approx. 120) I've only had to
do this once before so I knew it was possible but I really was
not impressed that in only the 2nd online TTT via my new
(better!?) server that I was forced to do this.
I published player list in the Playmaker Lobby and asked
players to report their losses by player numbers rather than
player names. We were up and running but I knew this was going
to be a tough one to run.

Having been told that the server would be back up and running
at approx. 9.00 p.m. it finally got working half way though
the Final Play-off at about 11.00 p.m.

So we got though the TTT and
found our Winner - but it was not the best ever run TTT and I'll be
having words with my server people as to how often I can expect their
equipment not to work. Once in a blue moon I can accept - anything more
and I have to consider sacking them.
